Daddy's silent demand

One afternoon, my father and I watched the news on television. in silence, we both watched the news about the marriage that is being aired at that time. Not the marriage of the royal family such as Prince William and Kate recently but the marriage between couples of different nationality. It is not regular partners, they come from two countries in war. The bride is a citizen of Israel and the groom are citizens of Palestine.
Before the wedding begins, the bride and groom were walking from their countries and meet the country's borders. yes, their wedding ceremony held in the border region between the two countries. When the bride and groom met at the altar, the atmosphere was very touching, the guests appear to tears.
That's the news about the wedding was over and we watched without giving any comment. But when I moved from the front of the television all of a sudden my dad said "definitely very proud if I could have a daughter like that".

Until now I never comment on his words but in my heart the words that seemed to be a demand for me.
